Ireland SMS Pre-Registration

Additional registration is required to message fans in this country

Ireland requires specific registration before you can send messages to fans in this country. Fortunately, this can be done in parallel with your general registration set-up.

Documentation Required

In addition to the generic business details you provide in this section, you must also include both of these in your application to register in Ireland:

  1. A business registration certificate which shows your federal business registration number. VAT is not accepted. If you used VAT in your general submission, you must also upload a business registration certificate for your business if you wish to send messages to Ireland.

  2. Proof of a business relationship between the artist (or brand) and the business you are registering under. Best practice is a trademark certificate. However, if you do not have one, please upload a screenshot of a press release illustrating the connection, or the album credits section, or any other item which illustrates a legitimate right to send messages on behalf of the artist.

If you are concerned about documentation for Item 2, please reach out to us on Intercom for support before submitting this page.

Registration with Com-Reg

The final step my be completed by the Authorized Representative in your submission. Ireland Com Reg will send two emails directly to that Representative, with a set-up action item which must be completed before you can send messages.

Instructions

  1. Follow the link in their email to create a user profile using your email address. You will only need to access this page one time, to complete steps 2 through 5

  2. Sign-in to Com Reg

  3. Click “My Sender IDs”

  4. In “My Sender IDs” click the button “Third Parties” on the row

  5. Look up “Cobrand” and click Save

This is what it looks like when the registration is complete:
