Meta Ads Setup & Authentication

How to authenticate your Meta Ads Account in co:brand

Before you can launch a campaign, you’ll need to first reach out to co:brand support to unlock it on your account.

Once you see Meta Ads in your navigation sidebar, the next step is to authenticate your Meta Ads account, so that co:brand can create and manage ads on your behalf.

  • Please note, this authentication is distinct from Instagram profile authentication, and must be performed before you can run Meta Ads.

Here are the detailed instructions to authenticate your Meta account:

Step 1: Enter Authentication Flow

  • Click into the Meta Ads tab, then Create Campaign

  • Select Authenticate User drop-down menu

  • Click New User

Step 2: Log Into Meta

You’ll be prompted to log into your Meta (Facebook) account. You must be an Admin or have ad access to the artist's ad account.

Step 3: Grant Permissions

Once logged in, you’ll be asked to approve access. Make sure the following permissions are enabled:

Pages & Instagram Accounts

  • Content: Create, manage, and delete ads for the Page

  • Ads: Manage ad partnerships

  • Insights: View performance for the Page, content, and ads

Ad Accounts

  • Manage Campaigns

  • View Performance

Datasets & Pixels

  • Use events dataset

  • Manage events dataset

After granting access, your account will be successfully authenticated and ready to use for campaign creation. If you run into issues, please double-check your permissions in Meta Business Manager, or contact us via Intercom for support.
