There are a couple ways to source creators for promotions in co:brand. See below for some options:
Catalog & Research Segments
Use the Song Catalog to find creators who already engaged organically with the sound you want to promote, or with other songs by the same artist.
Create a Research Segment based on a competitor artist, which could be a group of their sounds or one in particular, and find creators who had high reach and engagement from that pool of UGC.
Similar Creators
Once you find a creator who meets your ideal characteristics, you can click Similar Creators. By default they are sorted by the ones with the most-similar posts. If you do not see any Similar Creators in this view, it means we do not have enough data to generate a lookalike.
Creator Search
In addition to the above options, you can use Creator AI Search to find creators. This is a more flexible tool in many respects, since it regards what is occurring in the video in addition to the sound and genre or hashtags associated with it.
Best Practices for Creator Search:
The best way to approach Creator AI Search is to use it like a Google search bar. You can search for a sentiment, an activity, an artist name, an aesthetic, to name a few. When you type in a query, for example "sunset surfing", co:brand will search across our database for video.
💡 More tips:
Start with broad terms and then narrow it down
Use the results filter to define a country location - if you put it in the prompt, we will move it down to the filter anyway
Avoid industry jargon. For example, "tastemaker" is better expressed as "music reviewer" to the AI model
Lastly, instead of finding creators based on their videos, you can search for them based on their overall profile characteristics: median views, engagement rate, location, etc.
This top-down approach can be helpful to build up a general library of creators with high engagement metrics for a given location.
Please note: the search bar above the filters will only find a creator based on their name. It is not an AI search feature.
Invite Links
In Creator Roster, you can invite creators to join your roster by selecting "Invite Creators" and creating a new link invite. This general link allows creators to apply to your roster while collecting their information.
Tip: Share this link on social platforms, send it in a message to external creators, or include it in a Drop message.
When creators apply, they'll appear as "Interested" in your roster. You can then accept or reject them and add them to a creator list.
